It is defined as multiple media that can be used to deliver information digitally. Multimedia is a field with a computer-controlled combination of text, animation, graphics, audio, video, images and other forms of media. It represents, stores and transmits all information digitally. It also includes interactive elements such as voice command, mouse manipulation, text entry, touch screen, video capture, or live participation of the user.<\/p>\n<h2>Importance of multimedia in daily life:<\/h2>\n<p>Multimedia has become an enormous strength in today\u2019s world of technology. The influence of multimedia can see in every aspect of human life. Some important uses of multimedia are discussed below: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Business<\/h3>\n<p>Applications of multimedia in business are presentation, training, marketing, advertising, product demos, networked communication, etc. With the use of multimedia presentations, the audience can easily understand a concept. It provides an effective and efficient way to grab the attention of the visitors and share information about various products easily. It is also used in business marketing to persuade customers to buy the products. <\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Education<\/h3>\n<p>Multimedia applications play a crucial role in education. They take the method of teaching and studying to the next level. Many schools are encouraging teachers to use multimedia along with their teaching skills to invoke interest for students in their studies. It helps the brain to absorb and retain information more easily. It increases learning effectiveness and is more productive than traditional learning methods. Social Networking Apps along with multimedia tools allow users to watch and share photos\/videos on social networking sites.
