After the short Sri Lanka cricket series, the Australian team toured India for a short bilateral series. The series consisted of 3 one day internationals only which were played on:<\/p>\n
Australia ODI Series<\/h3>\n
1st ODI: 14 January, venue-Mumbai
\n2nd ODI: 17 January, venue-Rajkot
\n3rd ODI: 19 January, venue-Bangalore<\/p>\n
After completing the cricket series against Australia Indian team went on the tour of New Zealand.
\nThis series was a long tour where India played in all three formats. The month-long bilateral series consisted of 5T20s, 3 ODIs and 2 tests which were played on:<\/p>\n

1st T20: 24 January, venue-Auckland
\n2nd T20: 26 January, venue-Auckland
\n3rd T20: 29 January, venue-hamilton

\n2nd ODI: 8 February, venue-Auckland
\n3rd ODI: 11 February, venue-mt Maunganui

After the long tour of New Zealand, the Indian team returned to the home where they had to lock horns with South Africa for a short cricket series. The series was supposed to have 3 one day internationals only and it was to be played on:<\/p>\n
South Africa ODI Series<\/h3>\n
1st ODI: 12 march, venue-Dharamshala
\n2nd ODI: 15 march, venue-Lucknow
\n3rd ODI: 18 march, venue-Kolkata<\/p>\n
But due to Coronavirus scare the series was called off.
\nAlso, some of the Indian players were to take part in Asia xi vs world xi matches in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding father of Bangladesh, Sheik Mujibur Rahman. Two T20s were to be played and 6 Indian cricketers were shortlisted in the Asia xi squad. However, on 11 March 2020, the matches were “deferred until further notice” due to the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n
The matches were to be played on:<\/p>\n
1st T20: 21 march, Asia xi vs world xi, venue-Dhaka(Bangladesh)
\n2nd T20: 22 march, Asia xi vs world xi, venue-Dhaka(Bangladesh)<\/p>\n
After these, the Indian team players will be busy in the world\u2019s biggest T20 league i.e. Indian Premier League which was to kick start on 29th march in Wankhede stadium, Mumbai between 8 teams. The final of this tournament was to be played on 24 May in Wankhede stadium, Mumbai. But again due to coronavirus, IPL 2020 is deferred until April 15.<\/p>\n
After the hectic IPL season, the Indian team will be traveling to Sri Lanka in the month of July to play 3 match ODI series as well as the T20 series. The official dates of this tour are not yet out.<\/p>\n
After the tour of Sri Lanka, the Indian team will take a break from cricket in the month of August and after that, the Indian team will participate in the Asia Cup in the month of September. This time the Asia Cup will be played in the T20 format. The official dates of this tournament and teams participate in this are yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n
In September after the Asia cup, the English team will visit India for the limited-overs series just before the world cup.<\/p>\n
ICC T20 world cup 2020 (October-November in Australia):<\/h3>\n
In the month of October, the Indian team will be in Australia for the much-awaited T20 world cup. This time the competition will be held between 12 teams which are divided into two groups. In the T20 world cup, England, South Africa and Afghanistan have been placed in India\u2019s team group along with two qualifying teams.<\/p>\n
The details of the matches of the Indian team in the T20 world cup are as follows:<\/p>\n
1st match: 24 October, India vs South Africa, venue-Perth
\n2nd match: 29 October, India vs qualifying team, venue-Melbourne
\n3rd match: 1 November, India vs England, venue-Melbourne
\n4th match: 5 November, India vs qualifying team, venue-oval
\n5th match: 8 November, India vs Afghanistan, venue-Sydney<\/p>\n
The final of this T20 world cup will be played on 15th November at the Sydney ground.<\/p>\n
After the world cup, the Indian team will stay in Australia to play four tests and three one day internationals including the pink ball test from November to December.<\/p>\n
