A list of data produced by applying filters is known as a Salesforce report. Salesforce<\/a> reports improved our profitability and allowed us to anticipate trends. Types of Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Tabular report:<\/strong> A report that offers company information in tabular form. When you want a straightforward list of items with a total, you use it. Lists of contacts, opportunities, accounts, and other information are included in these reports.<\/li>\n
  2. Summary report:<\/strong> A report that offers a data listing together with subtotals and groupings. It is used when you wish to build a report that is organized hierarchically or when subtotals are required, depending on the value of a specific field. For instance, your team’s opportunities are categorized by owner and sales stage.<\/li>\n
  3. Matrix report:<\/strong> Records are grouped by rows and columns to create a report. It is used when you wish to view data according to two unrelated, independent aspects, like date and product. For instance, summarize opportunities vertically by month and horizontally by account.<\/li>\n
  4. Joined report:<\/strong> A report is created by combining any number of reports. A linked report can be produced by combining a matrix report with a summary report. Additionally, a combined report can be generated using tabular and matrix reports. Example: You may create a report that shows the opportunity, case, and activity data for your accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Custom Report Types<\/strong><\/p>\n

    You can create more complicated reports in Salesforce than what is possible with the regular report types by using custom report types. For all standard objects and standard object connections, such as “Contacts & Accounts” or “Opportunities with Products,” Salesforce includes report kinds right out of the box.<\/p>\n
