Failure is a bitter truth of life. It can leave you scandalized and make you give up on your aspirations. It will push you to compromise with your life that you have never dreamt of. Almost this is the reality of everyone’s life as most of the people have never learned how to deal with failure if they ever come across such a situation. No matter what your goals are regarding fitness, career, making money you are going to experience failure at some point.

So now the question arises: how to cope up or how to deal with the failure? To answer this question I have listed down 8 healthy ways to cope up with the failure:

  1. Accept your failure:

After the first surprise of the disappointment fades, whether it takes minutes, hours, days, or weeks, work on acceptance of what has occurred. Attempt to write down somewhere what you’re going through however mention most effectively the facts or records, without blame, judgment, or justification.

  2. Don’t let the negativity enter your system:

Failure can take an emotional toll on a person. And, there is nothing wrong with that. In truth, it’s ok to just accept the way you feel so you can get those negative feelings out of your system. If you don’t, and bottle those emotions of grief, unhappiness, anger, you’ll open the door to the bombing and anxiety that eat you later. You need to be open and obvious about what has happened. Vent among your friends and own family. You may do the exercise, cry, or do anything that takes to get out. But, don’t get stuck into it for the long term. Spend a day or two and then try to move ahead.

  3. Practice positive reframing:

Positive reframing is to invent the positivity in any situation, even in times where you see yourself failing. Assess the situation which seems like a failure, and consider different approaches to describe it. “Failure” is a very vast term. Instead of using a phrase like “I got failed in the search of a job,” try saying, “I have not found it yet, but I’ll…”. You should not cover up your errors instead of stating them without judgemental behaviour and think for the best alternatives available.

  4. Find the cause of failure and set realistic goals:

What happened that has thrown the aim out of the track? Could have been avoided? Consider the potential arrangements that could have been placed, and what its consequences would have been. What were the initial unrealistic expectations? Try to discuss your expectations with loved ones and teammates to gauge their realism. Once you have worked through the causes of past failures, the disappointment, then work on the establishment of a more realistic goal for the future. What would you like to see happen next? What type of actions on your part might make you more likely to succeed? Consult with people you believe-in will help you to measure the realism of your new goal.

  5. A breath of fresh air:

Research the new ideas and follow the new approach. Try different combinations to test the new solution. Check yourself if you have all the required resources to execute the plan you have this time. Think of new troubles that could come up your way.

Try not to repeat the same mistake. Keep the plan B in your pocket.

  6. Open for new learnings:

Disappointment can be an incredible educator in case you’re available to learn. Did you commit an error? Did you commit an entire arrangement of errors?

Consider what you could do any other way next time. At that point, you will guarantee your disappointment has become an actual existence exercise that helps you discover something new.

  7. Create a new plan:

Replaying your disappointment in your brain again and again won’t benefit you in any way. Try not to permit yourself to ruminate on all the things that turned out badly. Harping on your issues or repeating your missteps will keep you stuck.
Rather, consider what you’ll do any other way next time. Create a new plan that will assist you with incorporating the information you picked up from falling flat.
